Description:
his is a museum‑grade archival giclée reproduction, NOT an original hand‑painted painting. It fully recreates the ink texture, brushwork layers and subtle tonal gradations of the original artwork. This piece uses identical Chinese Xuan rice paper and the same machine‑processed traditional scroll mounting as the original hand‑painted work. The artist’s signature seals are manually stamped after printing to match the overall presentation of the original painting. With ultra‑high fidelity, this reproduction preserves every detail of the original work, ready for immediate hanging upon delivery.
This artwork carries the theme of May All Things Go Well, a motif originating from the classic painting by Emperor Zhu Jianshen of the Ming Dynasty. It portrays Zhong Kui stepping forward in a red robe, holding a Ruyi scepter. Beside him walks an attendant figure bearing a tray decorated with persimmons and cypress branches.
These elements carry well‑known homophonic associations in traditional Chinese culture: the cypress and persimmon, together with the Ruyi scepter, form a classic cultural motif that people historically linked to hopes for smooth and favourable circumstances. The description reflects the symbolic aesthetic language of ancient Chinese painting.
In traditional Chinese culture, Zhong Kui is a well‑known auspicious guardian figure. Artworks of Zhong Kui are favoured for display at homes, offices and studies, conveying heartfelt wishes for protection, peace, wellness and a pleasant surrounding atmosphere.
This artwork is a giclee art print. All golden lines on the piece are hand‑painted by the artist, and it bears the artist’s traditional Chinese cinnabar seal. This is a limited‑edition reproduction. The couplets in the photos are props for shooting only and are not included.
Suitable for hanging in living rooms, shops, studies and offices.
The artwork arrives as a fully finished mounted scroll, with free worldwide shipping included.
